No Deebo Samuel, no problem for the 49ers. After DL DJ Jones forced a fumble, the San Francisco offense took over at the Seattle 24-yard-line. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo on first down fired a strike to tight end George Kittle for a touchdown over two defenders.
The throw was a good one from the QB and helped settle the 49ers down after a tumultuous start that involved a fake punt touchdown by Seattle and a three-and-out by San Francisco’s offense.
