The Boston Celtics have struggled against the Cleveland Cavaliers while LeBron James called them his team, and the same has held true for third-year All-Star swingman Jayson Tatum.
In his rookie season, the Celtics won just one game of three scheduled regular season meetings, with the Duke product’s best game of the season a 15-point, 5 rebound affair in January of 2018.
James left the Cavs for the Los Angeles Lakers that summer, and the results were evident in Boston winning all four matchups next season, featuring Tatum scoring 25 points and 7 rebounds for his best tilt of the season with the Celtics’ Ohio-based rivals.
In this, Tatum’s third season, the leap forward the young Missourian has taken has been evident, with the Celtics winning all four contests yet again, one of which with a 32-point, 9-rebound, 5-assists explosion hung on Cleveland on March 4th.
