Celtics fourth-year shooting guard Jaylen Brown has had some pretty solid games against this interminable for for Boston.

Boston Celtics star shooting guard Jaylen Brown is pretty familiar with the San Antonio Spurs as a fourth-year player.

He’s had his fair share of good games against an organization the Celtics have had trouble beating over much of the last decade, including 30-point games in both 2018 and 2019.

He even had an opportunity to learn from the master himself this last summer, playing under legendary Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich for Team USA in the 2019 FIBA World Cup as part of the so-called ‘Team Shamrock’ contingent of four Celtics players on the team.

Just how much of Coach Pop’s dark arts the Cal-Berkeley product picked up that summer is unknown, but with Brown taking big steps forward this season in several areas, whatever he learned with Team USA certainly didn’t hurt.
