Boston Celtics star shooting guard Jaylen Brown decided to put in a little work with the team’s big men in practice today, and looked perfectly at home among the trees, even schooling them on offense a bit.
The Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn shared a clip of the 6-foot-6 native of Marietta, Georgia backing into 6-foot-10 center Enes Kanter and 7-foot tall big man Vincent Poirier, then pivoting to score over the two frontcourt players with ease.
Granted, the drills were a casual affair, with none of the trio putting in an especially high degree of effort on the coverage or the attack, but it’s still an impressive sight to see how easy Brown can score over his bigger teammates.

Then again, he regularly covers fours and even fives in Boston’s switchy defensive scheme, with the Cal-Berkeley product often drawing a frontcourt player on defense.
