The Boston Celtics will soon be headed to the state of Florida to join 21 other NBA teams at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex to complete the 2019-20 season in the so-called ‘bubble’ campus.
Ahead of that trip — which will take place on Wednesday, July 8th — the Celtics have been putting in work at Auerbach Center, their Waltham, Massachusetts training facility.
With inter-team scrimmage games less than three weeks away and a slate of eight regular season games slated to start soon after, the Celtics have a lot of work to do to make up for the near-four month layoff caused by the pandemic.
Even with players doing their best to maintain conditioning at home, the individual workouts will be a huge help to Boston ahead of their trip to Disney, and on Monday, star shooting guard Jaylen Brown and rookie forward Grant Williams put some time in working out.
