The immovable object had it on the irresistible force today at the Boston Celtics practice, at least at first.
In a session today at the Wide World of Sports complex in Disney’s NBA campus, star shooting guard Jaylen Brown and All-Star swingman Jayson Tatum held each other scoreless early in some one-on-one play, according to the Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn, who posted a clip of their battle.
The Jay Team were really getting into it — and looking every bit their pre- hiatus selves in the process — as they went mano a mano, probing each other’s strengths and weaknesses on the court.

Early on, the Georgia native held sway, but Tatum clawed his way back, and began breaking down his teammate’s previously airtight defense.
By the end of the clip, it seems the two had come up even, or close to it — watch the video embedded above to see the exchange for yourself.
