Watch: Jay Cutler dons night goggles in pursuit of serial killer of chickens

Jay Cutler has taken his hunt for the serial killer of chickens up a notch, or three.

If the first day of Jay Cutler’s pursuit of whatever is killing his chickens was entertaining and went viral, wait until people see what the former NFL quarterback is wearing as the hunt continued Thursday evening.

Yes, that is Cutler in a helmet with night goggles as he tries to find the perpetrator. The first night’s stalking proved fruitless so the search has been taken to another level.

The former Denver Bronco, Chicago Bear, and Miami Dolphin also introduced people to one of his roosters: Ole Blue. “Sometimes you have to fight crazy with crazy,” Cutler said. “Ole Blue has that look in his eyes. New sheriff in town. Predators beware.”

“First of all. The little guy is all heart and I love him, Cutler continues. “Coolest rooster in the game by far. Ole Blue terrifies me. Pretty sure he wants to fight me, he keeps staring at me with those crazy eyes and flapping his wings. Whatever comes in the chicken yard tonight better buckle up. Ole Blue is not playing. He’s trying to fight humans.”

He also admits he was wrong to try and pin the acts on his cat.

No word on whether Cutler’s friend said, “I’ll have whatever he’s having,” but it would be totally understandable. This otherworldly.
