Watch: Jared Goff keeping busy at home with golf trick shot

Jared Goff is working on his golf game while sheltered in his house.

Usually at this time of year, Jared Goff would be preparing for the start of OTAs and the Rams’ spring workout program. But due to the coronavirus, OTAs and minicamp have been postponed and players are unable to even step foot in their teams’ facilities.

So instead, Goff is working on his ever-developing golf game … at home. Goff posted a video on Instagram of him draining a chip shot from his patio into a practice green in his living room.

Earlier this offseason, Goff made a big contribution to help those in need during this difficult time. He and Andrew Whitworth each donated $250,000 to the Los Angeles food bank, with each donation funding 1 million meals for the local community.

“There are so many people in need right now and we want to do everything we can to help our Los Angeles community,” he said in a statement.

Goff is coming off a disappointing 2019 season, but he’ll try to bounce back with a campaign that was more along the lines of the ones he had in 2017 and 2018. If he can, the Rams could find themselves back in the playoffs.
