Jared Goff isn’t known for his mobility or speed, so he doesn’t often get into the end zone as a runner. But he did on Sunday in Washington, scoring a 2-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
It wasn’t the scramble that got everyone’s attention, though. It was the botched spike by Goff afterwards that had folks laughing on Twitter.
Here’s the touchdown first, which Goff deserves credit for. It was a nice read to find the opening and get into the end zone unscathed.

But the spike afterwards could’ve gone better. We’ll blame the rain and slippery ball for that one, though.
Fortunately, he didn’t take out the cameraman with his errant “spike.”
