WATCH: James Harden rings the bell before Sixers take on Celtics

New Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden was the bell ringer before the team’s matchup with the Boston Celtics.

The Philadelphia 76ers have had themselves an eventful day on Tuesday as they officially welcomed James Harden to the City of Brotherly Love. The Sixers will now look to move forward with a new star duo as soon as the Sixers get him on the floor.

While Harden is out through the All-Star break, the earliest he can make his debut now is Feb. 25 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he was in the building on Tuesday before the team took on the Boston Celtics. So, of course, he had to do something to get on the good side of the passionate Sixers fan base.

Harden was introduced with his welcome video, again, and he came out and he rang the traditional bell before the game started against the Celtics. He hit with a lot of enthusiasm as well as it looked like he was excited to be in Philadelphia, a place he always wanted to be.

The Sixers will look to go into the break strong with important matchups with the Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks before the break.
