Jalen Ramsey has never been one to shy away from a good trash-talk opportunity and he didn’t pass it up on Saturday after the Los Angeles Rams bounced the Seattle Seahawks from the playoffs. The wild-card win came just two weeks after the Seahawks celebrated their NFC West championship following a 20-9 win at Lumen Field.
Jamal Adams lit a cigar in his postgame press conference and players were given hats and T-shirts to commemorate the division title, which Jared Goff and Ramsey took notice of. After the Rams got revenge on the Seahawks this past weekend, Ramsey had a message for Seattle.
“They can take their hats and T-shirts to Cabo. They can keep their little hat and T-shirt. They can go to Cabo for the rest of the offseason,” Ramsey said into the camera.

Unlike Ramsey, Goff doesn’t typically let his feelings be known and doesn’t often show much emotion during press conferences. But after Saturday’s win, it was clear he had some added motivation from Seattle’s celebration two weeks prior.
“Two weeks ago, you saw them smoking cigars and getting all excited about beating us and winning the division – and we were able to come up here and beat them,” Goff said.
The Seahawks may have won the division, but the Rams are the ones still standing in the playoffs.
