There may not be a bigger Louisiana State fan on the Jacksonville Jaguars’ roster than running back Leonard Fournette, who will go down in history as one of the program’s best players. Of course, due to his significance to the program, he’s currently attending the national championship game between LSU and Clemson.
However, before that, he made an appearance on on of television’s hottest debate shows “First Take” to go toe-to-toe with Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman.
As expected, Fournette had total faith in his LSU Tigers and told the panel he didn’t have any concerns about them winning the game. He was also asked about Tom Coughlin’s firing, AFC South rival Derrick Henry, and the outlook of the AFC South with the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans making the postseason.
Fournette his best season as a pro as far as yards go, racking up 1,152 rushing yards over 265 carries. He was only able to register three touchdowns, however, but fans can bet their last dollar he’ll strive to make that change in 2020.
