When Isaih Pacheco gets into the open field, he can be so dangerous because of his physical running style and his leverage. The Rutgers football running back showed that in a 20-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter.

In motion, Pacheco takes a quick pass from quarterback Noah Vedral, finds space, gets some momentum, lowers his shoulder, and then shrugs off a would-be Delaware tackler for a touchdown. He simply bowled over two Delaware players on his way into the end zone.

With the run, Rutgers went up 14-0 over Delaware at 12:39 in the second quarter.

Pacheco, being talked about as a likely NFL Draft pick next spring, came into the game with 33 carries for 85 yards and a rushing touchdown along with one reception for two yards.

It was an afternoon of big plays for Rutgers, who got the scoring started midway through the first quarter with a tremendous 28-yard catch from wide receiver Bo Melton off a pass from quarterback Noah Vedral.

Last season, Pacheco led Rutgers with 515 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.
