Nebraska football running back Dante Dowdell scored his third touchdown of the day in a stellar game for the running back.
The sophomore had ten carries for 41 yards and three touchdowns on the day. Emmett Johnson was the leading rusher for the Huskers on Saturday, but Dowdell got the work done in the red zone.
His third touchdown of the game extended the Huskers lead to 44-25. The touchdown also allowed Dowdell into double digits, as it was his tenth of the year. It was a solid day for the running back, as the Huskers offense was clicking.
Nebraska football now has the opportunity to play in a bowl game, which was a momentum-shifting win for the program. First, the team has to prepare for the Iowa Hawkeyes in the season finale.
