WATCH: How far can the Boston Celtics’ league-leading defense take them?

Boston is starting to look like an elite team — but how good will they really end up being by season’s end?

After shaking off a rough start in the first half of the 2021-22 NBA season for the Boston Celtics, the storied franchise have put together the best defense in the league while using their defensive prowess to generate offense enough to push Boston into being a very good team on that end of the court as well.

Just how far can this new version of the Celtics go in the postseason? What can we expect from them in the rest of the regular season, and where are they likely to finish? These questions will soon start to come into focus, but until we get some answers loom large in the future of Boston this season.

The hosts of the CLNS Media podcast “The Garden Report” Bob Ryan, Jeff Goodman, and Gary Tanguay discussed these issues in a recent episode, trying to divine just how dangerous the new-look Celtics actually are.
