The discrepancy between Arkansas and Western Carolina could not be more clear just six minutes into the game.
After Arkansas scored on its second offensive play of the game, the Razorbacks followed on their next drive with a seven-play, 47-yard touchdown drive capped by Rocket Sanders’ three-yard touchdown run.
The second Arkansas touchdown came less than halfway through the first quarter as 8:40 was left on the clock after Cam Little’s point-after attempt went through.
Through two drives, quarterback KJ Jefferson was 5 for 5 for 115 yards with completions to Sanders, Isaiah Sategna, Luke Hasz, Isaac TeSlaa and the first touchdown pass to Jaedon Wilson.
Sanders had four carries for 12 yards and the score through the same span, while the Arkansas defense had limited Western Carolina to total of seven yards of total offense.
