It was a bit baffling when the Tennessee Titans opened up their 2020 NFL Draft by selecting an offensive lineman in the first round, but general manager Jon Robinson knows what he’s doing.
Despite not addressing the need at cornerback right out of the gate, the Titans were still able to land arguably one of the best at the position by selecting LSU’s Kristian Fulton with the No. 61 overall pick.
Here’s a look at some of Fulton’s best moments at LSU.
My favorite thing about LSU CB Kristian Fulton is his speed defending vertical routes. Here's a compilation of him matching up with the fastest player in the draft, Henry Ruggs #Titans pic.twitter.com/S7QqxOp55X

I appreciate how well Kristian Fulton is at covering slants especially as a press CB. Fulton saw 307 reps in press cov last yr. 2nd most in the nation. His timing to break this up without drawing a PI call is really good. #Titans have been in touch with him during draft process. pic.twitter.com/YYfKHMys5d

Fulton should fit well with the Titans as an outside corner.
His official 40-yard dash time of 4.46 impressed, as did his 32 tackles, 13 passes defensed and one interception last year during a historical season for LSU.
