The offseason experience for quarterback prospect Tua Tagovailoa could best be described as a roller coaster. Amid all the hype and fanfare from fans hoping to see him become their favorite team’s new quarterback of the future, Tagovailoa has had to combat skepticism from teams about both his durability and current health situation. With the COVID-19 outbreak stamping out any hopes in in-person visits to help shake off the negative narratives, Tagovailoa has had to go off script to try to prove to teams he’s worth the risk.

His latest shot may be his best one yet — and it comes just days after a report that some teams have “flunked” Tagovailoa for durability concerns.

Tagovailoa held a scripted throwing session with QB mentor Trent Dilfer at the training facility he’s been using in Nashville, Tennessee — and sent the video out to all 32 NFL teams. It didn’t take long for Tagovailoa’s throwing session to hit the internet, as ESPN’s Chris Mortensen systemically released seven videos highlighting different components of Tagovailoa’s throwing session.

To his credit, Tagovailoa is moving incredibly well for an athlete who suffered a dislocated hip in November of 2019. But we’ll let you be the judge for yourself. What do you think, does Tagovailoa look like Miami’s quarterback of the future? You can watch his throwing session highlights below:
