The Tennessee Titans may not have Marcus Mariota on the roster anymore, but they introduced another signal-caller with Hawaiian connections on Saturday afternoon.
With the No. 224 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Titans selected quarterback Cole McDonald out of Hawaii.
McDonald will make the preseason that much more exciting as he competes against Logan Woodside for the No. 2 spot behind starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
Here’s a look at some of McDonald’s best moments from his college career.

Did the #Titans just find their backup QB to Ryan Tannehill in Cole McDonald? pic.twitter.com/ucJRhX6qaT

Cole McDonald
QB
HawaiiIf you’re going to take a quarterback in round six, I like the go big or go home strategy.
McDonald has a lot of tools that could make him an unbelievable quarterback. Unlikely, but it’s worth a shot. #bears pic.twitter.com/PdWNvPu6AS

McDonald’s sheer athleticism and ability to make plays off script should be fun to watch throughout camp as he battles for the backup spot.
