The Rams were unable to make it two wins in a row on Friday night, losing to the Texans by a score of 24-20 at home. The loss dropped their record to 1-1 in the preseason, with the Bengals up next in the finale a week from now.
It looked like the Texans might win fairly comfortably after the Rams fell behind 14-6, but a special teams touchdown by Los Angeles kept things interesting. In fact, the Rams had a 20-17 lead until the final minute of the game when Houston scored a late touchdown to go up 24-20.
Even still, the Rams had a chance with less than a minute to play, but they came up just short after Lance McCutcheon was unable to break a big play.
