The Spartans are officially going dancing in March thanks to a massive comeback win on the last day of February.
Michigan State erased as 12-point halftime deficit to knock off Nebraska, 80-67, on Tuesday night in Lincoln, Neb. It was a tale of two halves for the Spartans, who couldn’t hit any of their open looks in the opening frame but then couldn’t miss in the second half.
The Spartans were led offensively by Joey Hauser (20 points), Tyson Walker (19 points) and Jaden Akins (17 points). A.J. Hoggard was equally impressive after a terrible first half, finishing with 10 points and 14 assists.
