The NFL Scouting Combine is an important part of the draft process, with the top prospects in the class working out for scouts and coaches in Indianapolis. It’s not, however, the determining factor of where a player will be drafted.

Just ask Cooper Kupp.

He didn’t have the best performance at the 2017 combine, running a 4.62 in the 40-yard dash and jumping only 31 inches in the vertical. He wasn’t the most explosive receiver in the class but he’s shown in the last five seasons that athleticism isn’t everything.
