Tyler Wahl earned his undergraduate degree from UW-Madison on Saturday, finishing with a Bachelor’s in Personal Finance. Men’s basketball head coach Greg Gard, who’s been here for Wahl’s entire career, congratulated the senior forward on his feat.
Wahl has become a staple of the Badgers’ lineup over the last four seasons, working his way from bench asset to team leader in his time with Wisconsin. He earned an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention spot in 2022 and has been with the Badgers for over 80 wins.
The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 11.3 points and 6.3 rebounds while playing 31.4 minutes per game over 32 contests in 2022-2023 and he will return for a fifth season in 2023-2024.
"He's developed into one of the finest young men I've ever been around"
