The 2019-20 NBA season to date has been a big one for veteran forward Gordon Hayward.
It’s been the first season since the gruesome injury sustained at the start of his Boston Celtics tenure that he has consistently looked like the player Boston hoped to sign in the summer of 2017.
Hayward put the league on notice that he was back to his old ways, cutting and slashing to the cup and hitting ice-cold jumpers from all over the floor.
He would again show off his pinpoint passing skills once opposing defenses realized they needed to stick to the Butler product on defense as much as they used to need to.
An eventuality which arose early in the season, and never diminished save for an extended absence mid-season to recover from a broken hand.
Watch the video above to see how Hayward has torched opponents with his best plays of the season so far, while we wait for a resumption of at least some of what remains.
