Watch: Gerald Everett scores rushing TD on Rams’ first drive

Gerald Everett scored the first rushing touchdown of his career Sunday.

The Los Angeles Rams made things look extremely easy on their first drive of Sunday’s game against the New York Giants, marching down the field after getting a three-and-out defensively.

They went 65 yards in 12 plays, picking up six first downs en route to the end zone. The opening touchdown was scored by Gerald Everett, but not on a reception.

He ran it in from 2 yards out on a jet sweep handoff from Jared Goff, cruising into the end zone for the first rushing touchdown of his career.
