Former Georgia Bulldog golfing great Kevin Kisner took the time to take a shot at Georgia Tech in an interview ahead of the Tour Championship. The Tour Championship is played at East Lake Golf Course in Atlanta, Georgia.
The event starts today and is a rare PGA Tour event that is Friday to Monday instead of the usual Thursday to Sunday. Kisner noted how the event always seems to have a few Georgia Bulldogs playing in it.
Unfortunately for Georgia Tech golf fans, there won’t be any Yellow Jackets participating in the Tour Championship. Kisner made sure to point that out:

Former Georgia Bulldog golfers Harris English and Brendon Todd are also among those set to play in the Tour Championship.
The PGA Tour has a different feel and schedule this year. The Masters is set to take place Nov. 12 through Nov. 15. Once again, Augusta, Georgia will be the pinnacle of the golfing world. Back in March, Kisner said he didn’t think the Masters would be played at all.

“Honestly right now I think 2020 is gone for the Masters,” Kisner said on the prospects of the event being held in the fall. “I don’t see how we can play it, (Augusta National isn’t) even open in September. What are they going to do, change the whole aspect of the golf course and club to host the Masters? I mean they would, but it would be a totally different golf course than what we play in the spring.”
Kevin Kisner is currently rated at the 29th best golfer on the PGA Tour. He’s set to tee off at 12:40 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
