Florida added one touchdown to the scoreboard in the third quarter, and it now leads Texas A&M on the road 28-24 going into the fourth quarter.
After forcing the game’s first punt on the Aggies’ possession to open the second half, Gators quarterback Kyle Trask led a touchdown drive to expand UF’s lead to 28-17.
After an interception was erased due to a personal foul, Trask found receiver Kadarius Toney for a 37-yard touchdown.

But Texas A&M had a response. Its run game wore down the UF defense, and running back Isaiah Spiller tore off chunks of yards against the Gators. A drive with seven combined rushes between he and Ainias Smith led to an A&M touchdown, narrowing the gap to just four points.
As the Gators head to the fourth quarter, they desperately need to string together stops defensively. They’re being outgained 385-290, and the Aggies are currently moving the ball with ease.
UF will look to fix those defensive weaknesses in the final frame.
