Michigan State forward Gabe Brown has high expectations for the Spartans in 2021-21, and believes the team is “gonna be great.”

Andy Katz of NCAA.com caught up with Brown on Monday, and discussed where the Spartans are at so far in their offseason workouts. Brown mentioned Michigan State is focusing on the little things right now so they can get back to contending for championships next season.

“I feel like this Michigan State team is gonna be great, I feel like it’s gonna be great,” Brown told Katz during the interview. “We are working super hard, coach (Tom Izzo) is on us, he’s on me a lot, he’s on everybody. This team is really caring about the little things that towards the end of the year really matter.”

Brown appeared in 25 games this past season and finished the year averaging 7.2 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. He will be one of the Spartans’ top returning players next season.
