Mel Tucker has been very open about wanting former Spartan players to make their way back to campus to visit the facilities and watch practice. MSU alumni are always welcome back around coach Tucker’s program.
As spring ball has taken into form and practices have been rolling, Michigan State has seen a number of alumni and former players come back and visit. A big group of former Spartans was in attendance at a private scrimmage this past weekend.
Of the returning Michigan State alumni, former captain and current Indianapolis Colts safety Khari Willis made his way back to campus.
Willis was one of a few Spartans that gave his thoughts on the new program under Mel Tucker. You can watch the video here:
"You can see their relentless mentality on display here early."
