The Atlanta Falcons are 0-1 after Sunday’s 18-10 loss to the Steelers, but there were some things the team can build around heading into Week 2 Running back Bijan Robinson rushed for 68 yards on 16 carries, adding five catches for another 43 receiving yards.
Robinson’s 111 all-purpose yards led the team in Week 1. While this may not have been the kind of breakout performance fantasy players were hoping for, the second-year running back did everything he could to help Atlanta’s struggling offense in Sunday’s opener.
The team’s passing attack struggled as quarterback Kirk Cousins never looked comfortable in his first game back from a torn Achilles. The Falcons passed for just 155 yards on Sunday, especially struggling in the second half. Robinson was the team’s only consistent threat in Week 1.
The former No. 8 overall pick was wired for sound on Sunday. Watch the full “mic’d up” segment below, as shared by the team’s Twitter account.
