Texas A&M’s 2025 baseball season is just 49 days away, and the Aggies are bringing back the 2024 College World Series team under the new but familiar leadership of Mike Earley.
Junior All-American Jace LaViolette will lead them as they look to make another historic run to the CWS, and he will have an opportunity to re-write the A&M record books in the process. Sitting at 50 career home runs, he is seven shy of passing Daylon Holt for the most home runs in Texas A&M history.
To this point, LaViolette has lived up to all the hype thrust upon him after he committed to Texas A&M a few years back. If he gets off to the same pace as last season, he’ll have the record before March, and then it will just be about putting distance between him and the next great home run hitter to grace Aggieland.
With two months until the start of the college baseball season, this is the perfect time to look back at his 50 career home runs.
