Heading into the 2023 NFL season, there were a handful of doubters who wondered if Mike Evans’ historic streak of 1,000-yard seasons would be broken because Baker Mayfield was now his quarterback.
Those doubts were silenced in comical fashion, as both Mayfield and Evans put up some of the best numbers of their respective careers last year, both earning Pro Bowl honors while leading the Bucs to a third straight NFC South title and a fourth consecutive trip to the playoffs.
Not only did Evans easily top 1,000 yards for the 10th straight year, but he also tied for the league lead with 13 touchdown catches, marking the fifth time in 10 seasons that he notched double-digit scores in a season.

Don’t be surprised if we get more of the same from this tandem in 2024.
