When the Raiders selected Henry Ruggs at pick No. 12 in the 2020 NFL draft, they did so with the belief that he could make the offense much more explosive. Prior to last season, this was a slow offense that needed a serious influx of speed on the outside.
While Ruggs had an up-and-down first season in the league, he did flash his speed and how he can impact the game for the Raiders. He averaged over 17 yards per reception as a rookie and drew a few important pass interference calls to help secure wins.
Below is a video of every reception for Ruggs of at least 15 yards via the NFL’s Game Rewind. Here you can relive the former Alabama star’s best plays from his rookie season:

The Raiders need Ruggs to become a more consistent and reliable receiver in 2021, but it sounds like he is in the process of doing so. Look for Ruggs to be a much bigger part of the offense this year in Las Vegas.
