WATCH: ESPN’s Tim Bontemps really likes the fit of newest Boston Celtic Derrick White

So far, it’s been hand-in-glove, and to devastating effect.

Almost lost in the hubbub of how the Boston Celtics have been playing of late is the fit of one of the players helping to contribute to a higher level of play from all of his new teammates, recent arrival from the San Antonio Spurs Derrick White.

The defensive wizard and his high-level ball-moving skills have helped his new squad kick things up a notch at exactly the moment the Celtics have been rising up to another gear many of us were surprised to see them unleash. The fit of White with this Boston roster even without the benefit of a honeymoon period to smooth transitions has been nothing short of impressive.

ESPN analyst and reporter Tim Bontemps recently put together a clip talking about how the fit of the former Spurs guard is like hand in glove with his new ball club, and how that has helped the Celtics unlock a far deadlier version of themselves.

Check out the video embedded above to get Bontemps take on White’s arrival in Boston while we wait for the Celtics to take the court once again.
