Throughout the offseason, the Los Angeles Rams are giving fans a peek behind the curtain with their fantastic series, “Behind the Grind”. They’re already on Episode 3, which focuses on rookie arrivals for OTAs and minicamp, the team’s rookie barbecue, Sean McVay’s induction into Miami’s (Ohio) Cradle of Coaches, Dont’e Deayon’s new role as a coach and more.
The Rams’ coaching staff is full of energy, which is on full display in this episode. Deayon, who’s part of the Bill Walsh Coaching Fellowship, is embracing his role on McVay’s staff, while veteran coach Eric Yarber still brings it every day as he leads the wide receivers.
One of the best parts of the episode was Deayon’s mic’d-up segment at practice. Players are going to love having him on the coaching staff, just as he was beloved when he was a cornerback in Los Angeles.
