WATCH: Dylan Raiola throws first TD pass of career

Wide receiver Isaiah Neyor was able to score the first touchdown of his Nebraska career.

The Nebraska football offense struggled to get rolling in the second quarter, but it came alive when quarterback Dylan Raiola connected with wide receiver Isaiah Neyor for a touchdown. The touchdown came off a perfectly placed ball, and Neyor took it 59 yards for the score.

The catch was the wide receiver’s fourth of the day, extending Nebraska’s lead to 16-7. It was also the first touchdown of Raiola’s career.  The ball was placed where only the wide receiver could grab it, and Neyor showed his ability to run after the catch.

Neyor had a big impact on the first half at the time of the touchdown, as he had four receptions on the afternoon.

The drive took two plays, 59 yards, and only lasted 18 seconds.

The touchdown electrified the offense and could get the unit back on track. One has to wonder how many more deep throws we will see as the playmakers look to get going.
