The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ secondary took a hit when Carlton Davis went out with a leg injury in the third quarter on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints in an NFC Divisional Round matchup.
Drew Brees saw Ross Cockrell enter for Davis and immediately went to work on the sub DB.
Brees threw a pass to Tre’Quan Smith, who beat Cockrell and found his way into the end zone. After the PAT, the Saints had a 20-13 advantage.
The scoring play was good for 16 yards.
A beautiful throw and catch to put the Saints ahead!#ForNOLA #NFLPlayoffs
