Although he’s not on the practice floor at the Golden State Warriors voluntary minicamp, Draymond Green is putting in work this offseason. Both Green and Stephen Curry didn’t travel to “The Dubble” for family reasons.
However, the former Defensive Player of the Year was working out in Los Angeles at the Samson Center with Travis Walton. The NBA skills coach shared a series of videos from Green’s workout on his Instagram. Green was working on some mid-range and long-distance jumpers.
The three-time All-Star’s performance should bring a smile to his Splash Brother teammates. Green buried seven consecutive attempts from well beyond the 3-point line.

Top-rated five-star high school recruit Mikey Williams made an appearance at Green’s workout.

Green struggled from beyond the arc in 2019-20, shooting 27.9% on 3.0 3-point attempts per game. Green’s long-distance shooting numbers from 2019-20 was his lowest mark since his rookie season (20.9%). However, the forward dealt with injuries throughout the year, limiting his season to only 43 games.
Green’s display at his offseason workout could be a positive sign for the Golden State Warriors moving into the new season.
