Draymond Green has spent his entire career on the same team as Steph Curry. The duo, along with Klay Thompson, have won four championships for the Golden State Warriors. Green is uniquely positioned to discuss Curry’s status as potentially being the greatest point guard ever.
When speaking to the media after the Warriors’ Nov. 6 win over the Detroit Pistons, a media member referred to Curry as “one of the greatest guards,” Green shut down the question to set the report straight. The veteran forward noted how “one” or “of” isn’t how you describe the Warriors superstar. Instead, you should use “the.”
Green’s comment was clearly jovial, and he allowed the reporter to continue with his question after he had finished correcting them. Nevertheless, the moment was entertaining and indicative of the high regard that Green holds Curry.
