Alabama senior wide receiver helped the Crimson Tide extend their lead over the Ole Miss Rebels with an impressive 14-yard rushing touchdown to increase the Tide’s lead, 56-45.
Smith also has a 14-yard touchdown reception for the night as well.
Simply put, Smith is doing whatever he can to help the Tide beat the Ole Miss Rebels for the 5th straight time.
Last season, Smith was splitting reps with Henry Ruggs III and Jerry Jeudy, both of whom were first-round draft picks.
Smith’s decision to return for his senior year is not only going to help Alabama have a better chance of returning to the College Football Playoff, but it also will give him the opportunity to improve his draft stock.
Even while splitting reps with Jeudy and Ruggs, Smith recorded an impressive 68 receptions for 1,256 yards and 14 touchdowns, one of which sparked a second-half comeback against the Michigan Wolverines in the Citrus Bowl.
