It has now been well over a month since quarterback Deshaun Watson started and finished a game for the Cleveland Browns. He last played a full game on September 24th during a victory over the Titans which was his best game since he came to town. He has now returned to practice with the Arizona Cardinals on deck.
The last time we saw Watson against the Indianapolis Colts it was clear that despite him being on the field he was unable to do the things he needed to win the game. Kevin Stefanski has not committed to any quarterback this Sunday outside of saying if Watson can’t go then it would again be P.J. Walker at quarterback.
The season hinges on Watson coming back and at least being a middle-of-the-pack starter. They cannot continue to win with awful quarterback play and Watson was paid to be one of the top talents at the position.
Here are some of the sights and sounds from Wednesday’s practice as Watson returned to the field.
