There are few, if any, that charm in college football quite like Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney. The man is many things but shy in front of a camera and microphone certainly isn’t one of them.
Swinney stopped by the ACC Network set at the annual ACC Football Kickoff this week where host Jordan Cornette (Notre Dame basketball’s all-time blocked shots leader) asked him about the Irish potentially joining the ACC.
Swinney played it off by delivering a pretty good response, take a look for yourself:
Dabo joked about Notre Dame and Georgia joining the ACC at #ACCKickoff 😅👀

Well done, Dabo (besides the Auburn misfire, anyway).
Kidding aside, Notre Dame to the ACC has been a hot topic this week with news of Oklahoma and Texas sniffing around the SEC, but it seems pretty obvious there isn’t any smoke here for the time being, let alone fire, which makes the majority of Irish faithful able to laugh it off.
