Watch: Connaughton trey stretches Bucks lead to end third quarter

Things went a lot better for Milwaukee on Sunday night…

Trailing 2-0 in the NBA Finals, the Milwaukee Bucks were in desperate need of a win to make things compelling against the Phoenix Suns and that’s exactly what they got Sunday.

Leading by 19 in the closing seconds of the third quarter, Notre Dame product Pat Connaughton put the proverbial icing on the cake for the Bucks as his three-pointer just before the buzzer to end the third quarter stretched the lead to 22 points.

Connaughton had eight points at the end of the third quarter as the Bucks appear headed to making it a 2-1 series.

Keep it tuned right here at Fighting Irish Wire for all things involving Connaughton and Suns head coach Monty Williams, both of which are products of the University of Notre Dame.
