The big game atmosphere in Happy Valley is already buzzing hours before kickoff between Penn State and Auburn. The fun got started Saturday morning with ESPN broadcasting live for College GameDay, which invited former Penn Stater running back Saquon Barkley to be the celebrity guest picker of the day.
As is the showcase of every episode of College GameDay, the picks at the end of the show are the headliner, and Penn State is playing in the featured GameDay game of the week
Prior to the official picks were made at the end of the show, Chris Fallica was given an opportunity to share which way he was going on the game. The Bear, as he is routinely referred, said Penn State is going to send Auburn home with a loss.

David Pollack picked Auburn to win outright as his super dog pick of the week too. This one fell a little under the radar, but Pollack is on the record.

Kirk Herbstreit had to excuse himself from making an official pick as he is going to be part of the broadcast crew with play-by-play announcer Chris Fowler for ABC on Saturday night.
Desmond Howard picked Penn State in the season opener against Wisconsin, and he wasn’t about to shy away from picking the Nittany Lions again in Week 3.
There was absolutely no drama in the pick to be made by Saquon Barkley. Barkley, naturally, stuck with his Nittany Lions to thunderous applause by the Penn State fans in attendance.
So which was was Lee Corso going to go? Throughout the broadcast, Corso played it both ways by suggesting he would be leaning toward Penn State and later suggesting Auburn was the better team from the better conference. So how did Corso end up revealing his pick?

We’ll see who picks correctly and who will be on the wrong end of ridicule later tonight.
