WATCH: Coach Ime Udoka is already making the Boston Celtics better

Udoka’s culture of accountability seems to be resonating with the team.

While it might still sting that the Boston Celtics dropped their season opener to the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, one would be hard-pressed not to notice new head coach Ime Udoka is already leaving his mark on the team in positive ways.

Quick timeouts to kill momentum seems to refocus Boston faster than last season, an atmosphere of accountability and an upbeat team even when faced with adversity. Though the smallest of sample sizes, Udoka seems headed in the right direction.

On their most recent episode of the CLNS Media podcast “Celtics Beat,” hosts Adam Kaufman and Evan Valenti along with Hall of Famer Cedric Maxwell talk early impressions of the new Boston coach, his approach to the job, and how it’s panning out in the video embedded below.
