Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons opened eyes of many during the college football season. The 6-foot-3 5/8, 238-pounder put on a stunning performance Saturday at the NFL Scouting Combine.

That measured 11 feet and it was only an opening act. Simmons then ran the 40 and his time was stunning … for anyone.

WOW!! I just watched @isaiahsimmons25 run a blistering 4.39 as a 240lb linebacker. That is ridiculous! His speed and versatility makes him the best defensive player in the 2020 @NFL draft.

Overall:
#Clemson LB Isaiah Simmons
6-4 (93rd percentile)
39” vert (92nd percentile)

That translates him to not being around long in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Isaiah Simmons should not go no lower than 4th overall. Just sayin 🤔😳

Some of those #Clemson highlights from Isaiah Simmons after he clocked that wicked 4.39 40-yard dash. Needless to say, you can see the sick closing speed for a 6-3 238 pound linebacker/safety. Gotta believe the #Lions will give him a look at #3 overall. pic.twitter.com/VvnG3YJcx4
