It isn’t always about the game-winning shot. The game-winning stop can be just as, if not more impactful.
For Wisconsin point guard Chucky Hepburn, clutch moments have come at the defensive end all season long.
Hepburn has a team-best 43 steals, which already surpasses his freshman-year mark of 36. The steals have also come at opportune times, as he came away with key thefts late against USC, Maryland, Minnesota, and others.
Hepburn has been a problem for opposing guards all season long, and ranks in the top five in the Big Ten in overall steals.
