Kansas City Chiefs players might be unable to practice at team facilities due to the coronavirus, but that hasn’t stopped them for training together on their own time.
At the end of May, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes let the world know that the Super Bowl champions were back at it and had been working. Now, Mahomes and some teammates are showing the world what that looks like with the help of collaborator and video guru Billy Quach.
Chiefs WR Gehrig Dieter shared a video produced by Quach on his Twitter channel on Wednesday. The video shows a training session with Mahomes, Dieter and TE Travis Kelce. Check it out:

The video cut-up features some light training and then a throwing session at what appears to be a high school football field. Kelce and Dieter run a variety of routes for Mahomes. There might have been a no-look pass or two in the mix as well.
It’s good to know that the players are taking things into their own hands. They’re staying in shape and prepared despite the uncertainty surrounding the NFL season. There won’t be a post-Super Bowl slump for these guys. They’re as motivated as ever to go out and prove they’re the best in the NFL all over again.
