After missing the 2022-23 season while rehabbing a Lisfranc injury, Chet Holmgren has made up for lost time this offseason by staying active on the court.
The 2022 No. 2 pick was cleared from his foot injury shortly after the season concluded, which meant his return to the court occurred in summer league. After that concluded, he quickly returned to Las Vegas. He was listed on the Team USA Select Team as a training camp invite.
Holmgren continues to stay busy as he recently played in a second “Through The Lens” that featured Kevin Durant, Trae Young and Jalen Green. In this run, he scored 31 points — nearly one-third of his team’s 97 points, per Cooper Jones.

The Oklahoma City Thunder anticipate Holmgren will play a significant role this season as he returns to be their starting center. The seven-footer will enter the year as a Rookie of the Year favorite.
