Imagine the shock of entering your friendly neighborhood Chick-fil-A, and you hear, “Bruce Allen, your order is ready.”
Well, if you live anywhere in the DMV, it could happen, but that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily Bruce Allen โ the disgraced former team president of the Washington Football Team.
Instead, it could be Chase Young picking up “Bruce Allen’s” order.
In a hilarious interview with Darren Haynes of WUSA Channel 9 in Washington. D.C., Young revealed he gives the name “Bruce” when he orders Chick-fil-A. Haynes then asked him Bruce’s last name, and Young responded, “Allen.”

It is outstanding.
If you’re wondering why Chase Young was discussing Bruce Allen and Chick-fil-A, it was due to Haynes asking him to rule out one possible nickname for the Washington Football Team.
Young responded with one word, “Bruce.”
That’s where Young proceeded to tell the story of using the name every time he places an order at Chick-fil-A.
So, while Young came to Washington after owner Daniel Snyder fired Allen, it was Allen’s ineptitude that put the Football Team in a position to draft Young No. 2 overall in 2020.
Young is Allen’s greatest gift to Washington.
